Wendell P. Slater is the father of Micheline and Wendell and the husband of Michel. He is also Millie and Alyx’s grandfather. In addition to being retired from the United States military and the healthcare industry, he is the published author of several children’s books.
He received his Associate of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees from the State University of New York Empire State College, with concentrations in Mathematics, Science, and Technology. His first master’s degree was in Public Health from Touro University. His second master’s degree is in Counseling, focusing on Military Resistance from Liberty University.
Wendell P. Slater is a scholar and an active participant in the fight for human rights, public and charter school education, Veteran support, and healthcare initiatives. His service on seven boards of for-profit and non-profit companies and the Krewe of African Kings executive board reflects his dedication to these causes.
